By downloading, installing, or using MyPoreAi ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Service description

MyPoreAi is a skincare routine organization and personalization tool. It generates product-layering recommendations based on your skin profile, product inventory, and wellness data. MyPoreAi is not a medical device, medical service, or substitute for professional dermatological or medical advice.

2. Health and wellness disclaimer

MyPoreAi provides general wellness information about skincare ingredients and routines. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Routine adjustments based on HealthKit data (sleep, cycle phase, stress, hydration) are wellness personalization features, not medical recommendations. Do not rely on MyPoreAi for health-related decisions.

3. Pregnancy ingredient screening disclaimer

MyPoreAi includes a feature that screens product ingredient lists against a database of ingredients commonly flagged in published dermatological literature regarding pregnancy. This feature is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

The pregnancy ingredient screening cross-references ingredient lists against published dermatological guidelines. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Ingredient information may be incomplete, outdated, or not applicable to your specific situation. The absence of a flag does not mean an ingredient is appropriate for your specific circumstances. Always consult your healthcare provider, OB-GYN, or dermatologist before making decisions about skincare products during pregnancy, nursing, or any medical condition.

MyPoreAi makes no guarantees about the completeness or accuracy of ingredient screening classifications.

4. AI-assisted features disclaimer

MyPoreAi uses AI models (provided by Anthropic and OpenAI) for optional features including product photo identification, ingredient list extraction, and check-in note analysis. These features may produce inaccurate or incomplete results. You should verify AI-generated information independently before relying on it.

5. On-device machine learning

MyPoreAi uses an on-device machine learning model that learns your product preferences over time. This model's predictions are one input among many in the recommendation engine and do not constitute professional advice of any kind.

6. Beta program and future pricing

MyPoreAi is currently in beta and is free to use, including all features and unlimited AI product lookups. When premium tiers are introduced in the future, any paid subscriptions will be managed entirely through the Apple App Store, with payment, renewal, and refunds handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, algorithms, and branding in MyPoreAi are the property of the developer of MyPoreAi or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App except as permitted by applicable law.

8. User responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the App (skin profile, product ingredients, etc.).
  • You agree not to use the App for any purpose other than personal skincare routine management.
  • You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of MyPoreAi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. This includes, without limitation:

  • Skin reactions, allergic responses, or any other adverse health outcomes related to skincare products used based on the App's recommendations.
  • Decisions made during pregnancy or nursing based on the ingredient screening feature.
  • Any reliance on routine recommendations, product scores, or AI-generated analysis.
  • Data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or iCloud sync issues.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of MyPoreAi, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Since the App stores data locally, termination does not affect data already on your device.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

13. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
